エレガントなユマニスティック体は１６世紀中にヨーロッパの上流階級が愛用したスタイルです。
読みやすいユマニスティック体はあらゆる印刷工房でフォントのモデルになりました。
この書体をパリのマザリン図書館の写本に基づいて し学びます。
その後、黄金の飾り文字を、特徴があり有名な「鷹の書」リベール・ファルコルムより学習し、
牛皮紙の種類の見分け方とその準備を覚えます。

After practicing the elegant Humanistic script, students will learn the French cut of quills as explained
in the Diderot Encyclopedy published before the French Revolution.
This process will lead to the execution of a booklet on vellum.

The 16th century Humanistic script was one of the favorites hands commissioned
by the aristocractic classes of Europe thanks to its legibility.
It became the model for the design of fonts used by printers.
The script under study is a model taken from the famous manuscript “Liber Falcorum”
kept at the Mazarine Library in Paris.
Towards the end of the course golden initials used in this manuscript will also be taught.
Students will learn to differentiate several grades of parchment and vellum, its preparation and use.
