The collection on Swiss Culture has been created by the School's most talented students
using traditional tools and precious metals to create texts with miniature paintings and heraldry.

Switzerland has a long tradition with the Latin alphabet which appeared from the time the Roman General Julius Caesar crossed the Alps to arrive at the Rhone bridge of Geneva in the year 58 B.C.

Swiss calligraphy is more than 2000 years old with countless styles spanning Antiquity, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the Belle Epoque and today's fashionable regional scripts.

About 60 framed works presenting the culture of all 26 cantons will be exhibited in German, French, Italian, Romansh and English.
